All plot prices are exempt from vat, but all memorial prices will be charged plus vat.
BURIALS
The digging of graves is only undertaken by staff directly employed by or contracted to Rose Hill NBG. However the instructions to dig a plot are made by the funeral director chosen by the licence holder. Burial fees form a part of the funeral arrangements.
LEGAL OWNERSHIP
As with most cemeteries and burial grounds, purchase of a plot licence brings the right to use a plot for burial(s) only. It does not include any transfer of the freehold ownership which remains with MBF (1954) Limited (trading as Rose Hill Natural Burial Ground), or its successors in title. Once the purchase has been completed, the named holder has the exclusive right of burial for 50 years or the life of the burial ground.
